Gaea Mother's Day Walk and Performance 1pm May 8

Come celebrate our collective mother, the Earth with a walk over the mountain from Nine Mountain Retreat Center in Plainfleld to the Singing Bridge in West Cummington on Mother's Day. We will also be celebrating Mariam, Amanda and Maya for their birthdays so bring blessings and share your gifts with these beautifully embodied mothers of many wonders. At 1pm we'll begin at the Singing Bridge by dressing up in costume if you wish. 2pm Heading over to Nine Mountain to meander and march over Deerhill Mountain singing and rejoicing in the wonder and beauty of our Mother Earth together! All mothers, daughters, sons and Earth worshipers are welcome! Once we arrive there'll be a ceremony on the bridge over the Westfield River and then . . . 5pm Vegan Cafe and Performances by: The Emerald Starfyre Band - a sexy, sassy, serene sounding sensation of goddesses - Mariam Massaro (ukelele, guitar, voice), Kay Cafasso (harp and voice), Amanda Potluck (piano, guitar and voice) and Hilary Lake (violin, sruti box and voice) The Gaea Star Band with Mariam Massaro, Craig Harris and Bob Sherwood will also appear, playing their improvised magestical tunes. Come at 1pm to the Singing Bridge to get into costume and drop off your car or bring your own and arrive at Nine Mountain at 2pm. There will be shuttles from The Singing Bridge to Nine Mountain around 1:45pm. Please arrange your own ride back from the Singing Bridge to Nine Mountain if you park there. $10-$20 Offering for Pizza and Performances
